Ashiato

This is a demon named Ashiato. He is Sesshomaru's son. When Sesshomaru found out about Izayoi, found out that his father was seeing a mortal ningen he got mad. He waited a few days and watched them two together, his father and Izayoi, and saw how close they were getting. Sesshomaru was just getting angrier every time he saw them together. He got so furious when his father finally told him about Izayoi that he blew up in rage and rutted the first powerful female Inuyoukai he found.

The female he rutted with ended up getting pregnant and Sesshomaru didn't know about it until the boy was about to be born. He knew that his father would disapprove so he sent the boy and his mother away to be protected. He still visited the family years later and would make sure the boy would grow up strong. 'No son of mine will ever be weak' is what Sesshomaru was thinking.

It is tradition that the father name the children so when Sesshomaru saw the paw print marking on the boys forehead, much like his own crescent moon, he decided to name him Ashiato, which means paw print.

Ashiato is a little bit older than Inuyasha but not by much, only about a year or two. Since Ashiato grew up training, even though it wasn't in the western palace, hr became stronger and more experienced than Inuyasha. The two boys meet up unexpectedly one day and fur flies. Luckily Sesshomaru was in the vicinity because it was close to the new moon and he has been watching Inuyasha during those times. Sesshomaru broke the two up, Ashiato was winning. Inuyasha played him off saying something along the lines of 'I could of beat 'em if you didn't butt in asshole.'

The Inu group, not counting Inuyasha, and Rin who had never seen Ashiato, maybe Jaken has I don't know, Notice just how much Inuyasha and Ashiato look alike. This brings for many questions to Sesshomaru who refuses to answer. Sesshomaru's group and son join up with the Inu group for the time being.

Inuyasha and Ashiato fight a lot at the beginning but then grow to like each other and both start to prank Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru nips that in the bud right away by putting them in their place Inu style. Later when he notices just how much time the boys are spending together he lets them get away with a prank on him. he want the boys to get closer. Also he noticed that they were picking on the kitsune, Shippo, who was Rin's friend and didn't like them fighting.

At first Sesshomaru was worried that Inuyasha was having a bad influence on his son because of all the childish things they were doing, but then realized that they were just acting their age. His boy didn't really have to much time for play anyways and here was a prime opportunity. The rest of the group keep trying to subtly to get answers out of Sesshomaru as to why the two Inu boys look so much alike, but just as the many times before he doesn't answer, instead just saying that the two were both young and Inu who came from the same family,and there is bound to be resemblance.

Sesshomaru was hiding something though. The group suspects that Sesshomaru might have had an affair with Izayoi and that Inuyasha might actually be his child two making the two boys brothers.

Ashiato is a lot like Inuyasha. He is mischievousness and has a short temper but is more calm and collected. He knows how to control himself. Ashiato is also a full demon while Inuyasha is only half.

Inuaysha is seen spending most of time with Ashiato. They have become like best friends, like brothers.
